System Assurance Engineer
JOB SUMMARY
RKH Qitarat is currently seeking a System Assurance Engineer to join our team and drive service excellence across the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram networks. The role focuses on reliability improvement, asset performance, system assurance, RAM, and asset management across all Metro and LRT rail systems. The System Assurance Engineer will review D&B and project-related documentation, validate and implement system assurance processes and maintenance plans, and support ISO 55000 certification activities. The role also includes leading technical discussions and presentations with engineering teams, clients, Independent Safety Assessors, and certification bodies, while acting as the technical lead for projects covering RAM, EMC, Fire & Life Safety, Human Factors, and Security. Candidates should have at least 8 years of rail systems assurance experience and strong knowledge of railway safety standards including EN50126, EN50128, EN50129, IEC 61508, and related railway regulatory frameworks.

The role will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standards. The successful candidate will supervise day-to-day project activities, coordinate teams, monitor performance and maintain high standards of quality, health and safety and operational efficiency. They will also support project planning, risk and change management, resource coordination and budget control. Candidates should have experience in project planning, construction and project management, with knowledge of tools such as Primavera or MS Project and strong decision-making, problem-solving and organisational skills.

Deputy Engineering & Maintenance Director
JOB SUMMARY
RKH Qitarat is currently seeking a Deputy Engineering & Maintenance Director to join our Engineering & Maintenance team. The role will support the Maintenance Director in leading and directing maintenance activities across Rolling Stock, Signalling, Telecom, Fare Collection, Power Supply and Track systems for the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram networks. The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership, oversee engineering deliverables, support the development of Strategic Asset Management Plans and drive performance against KPRs. The role will also deputise for the Maintenance Director when required, lead cross-functional teams, promote best practices across the network and support the continuous improvement of maintenance performance, safety, quality and efficiency. Candidates should have at least 15 years’ maintenance experience, including 10 years in an executive position within public transport, along with a degree in an engineering-related discipline and proven experience in leading and managing teams.
